Background Experience
About Me My general job title would be Marketing Consultant but that would also include Web Strategist and Brand Manager - someone who helps businesses to promote their services and products through targeted strategies that help increase awareness and consumer loyalty through strong positioning.
Prior to establishing myself in Marketing, I spent 15 years working with Academy Award winning talent in the Los Angeles Film Studio System and then in Advertising and Commercial Production in Orange County, California.
My cumulative background has given me a wide range of knowledge and I am able to tie this into programs and services - from multi-media production, to internet marketing and print advertising for other clients.
My specialty is working with small and mid-sized businesses that want to either launch a new product / service or redefine their existing image and products to better promote themselves and their services to gain wider market share.
My work has won awards and been recognized as innovative and effective. My success has included helping clients to overcome image problems and sales obstacles while increasing client retention and launching new products.
My Approach
With so much being written and discussed about Branding, SEO and Social Media Marketing, it's my job to try and translate this wide variety of trends and behaviors into business growth and profitability. With a deep understanding of downturn economics and the new value proposition, my success has been to build marketing growth for various clients with limited resources, as well as implementing low-cost strategies for maximizing long-term relationships with consumers and businesses. Some of those strategies include:
- Establish strategic guideline framework, including short and long range goals
- Establish budget with breakdown for web development, events, advertising and promotions
- Ensure a strong web presence through business domain content, referring sites and SEO
- Implement consistent messaging, including a strong value proposition
- Increase clientele and exceeded revenue goals through heightened brand associations
- Manage and negotiate media marketing schedules to include newspaper and magazine ads
- Expand revenue base by identifying prospects and converting to loyal customers
- Orchestrate the promotion of customer retention through recognition incentives and discounts
I work closely with principals and existing staff to achieve these objectives within specified time frames.
